Mold Inspections in Minnesota
There are 3 different types of tests we offer during an inspection. They are Air Tests, Swabs, and Cavity Tests. Air tests are 5×5 tests. Swabs are geared towards physical growth molds like Chaetomium and Stachybotrys. Cavity tests are where we will punch a small diameter whole into a wall to feed a tube in and test the air quality in the wall. All samples taken are sent to a third-party laboratory for review.
Particle ID Testing is also offered. Using the same spore trap, the laboratory can also run tests on the same to sample to determine what pollutants are present. Ie. Fiberglass, insect fragments, dander, pollen, minerals, organic debris, etc.
Our services
Air Quality Testing: Utilizing spore traps to determine what airborne spores are present.
Surface Testing: Using swabs to determine what type of mold the physical growth is.
Cavity Testing: Finding mold growth inside wall cavities, below cabinets, and space between ceiling and floors via air testing.
Particle ID Testing helps identify the types of airborne particles in your home—like mold spores, dust, pollen, or fiberglass. This test is key in diagnosing air quality issues and guiding effective remediation.
